The Work Agents offer a verity of methods to prepare our clients for the road ahead.
Our workshop are designed to prepare young people to obtain, keep, and advance in a career, this is how we do it:
- On the Job / Internship Training.
- Our partners provide opportunities for candidates to receive valuable OJT. We currently have Landscaping, Painting, Home Renovations, Tow Truck Driving, Auto Repair, with more career trades coming.
- Online Jobs and Resources Board
- The Work Agents website is a resource for Employers and Job Seekers. Employers can create a profile and post jobs and hiring events at no cost. Job Seekers can create profiles, upload resumes, and search available jobs.
- Employer Recruitment and Presentations.
- The Work Agents invites employers to present information on their companies, conduct mock interviews, talk about paths in careers in their industries, and insights on career advancement.
- Job Referrals and Placement.
- Our partners in the employment sector supplies The Work Agents with the latest jobs advertisements. We use our relationship to create new opportunities for our candidates.
- Our mentors are members of business, government, and our community. We recruit the people that can connect with the young people in our program. This allows our candidates to envision themselves following paths to successful careers.
