The Save Our Youth Series will connect at risk youth Sacramento youth, specifically, with Non-Profit programs that focus on Educational Planning, Career Development, Mentoring, and Internships. The Promote the Peace Project has partnered with the following Sacramento Community Organizations to provide educational forums throughout the year. The Work Agents™, Sacramento Juneteenth, Renew-A-New Mentoring, & other community & business leaders will be present, and we hope you will be too.
The Save Our Youth Series will be the official launch of The Promote the Peace Project™. The Promote the Peace Project will Produce a music Project, 24/7 Youth Radio Station Rotation, Concert, and Award Ceremony. The Promote the Peace Project will engage Sacramento youth with a Music, Video and Written Word contest that will allow them to share their thoughts, ideas, and talents on a vast media platform. In addition, PTPP will visit various Schools in the region to bring the Promote the Peace Project to area High School campuses.
Promote the Peace is NOW Accepting Music, Poems, Essays, Short Video Documentaries/Movies, and Dance Projects. Submissions should contain Positive Messages about our Community, Personal Stories and insights, how we can Reduce Violence in our communities or Something Positive. The Promote the Peace is open to youth ages 12-21 and there is NO COST to enter. The top 16 songs, 16 poems, 16 Essay, 16 Dance Teams, and 16 Documentary Videos, will be selected for our first Promote the Peace CD/DVD. Projects that do not make it on the Music Project will be considered for Promote the Peace Radio, live events, and the Promote the Peace Website.
The Promote the Peace Project is seeking sponsors and partners who share our vision in preparing our communities next generation of leaders for the global economy. Promote the Peace Project would like sponsors to contribute Annual Sponsorship, Speaker(s) to lead Community Forums focused on issues and solutions that affect young people, and Mentors to match with program participants and provide Internship Position(s) to program participants.
